What is the real reason for the decline of the stock market? Trust is the reason, lack of that is. No one knows how much of a slap of taxation will be placed upon their success. Why take the chance? why invest to make money? How much will they take if we make money? Well you guessed it, it is all a guess, who wants to risk money on a guess. Right, no one. It is apparent the man will be after you should you become successful so leave it alone, stay low, let the taxation devils fly right on by while you are in the closet with your money. No, we will not give it to them, the tax devils that is.
So this is the reason for the decline in the stock market. Money is still there as much as it has been, even more so since the printing presses are continually running. Right the money doesn't go away, it's somewhere, maybe in the closet waiting for the coast to be clear.

Rabbi under Fire

Rabbi Under Fire For Attending Inaugural Prayer Service

BY DANIEL BURKE ©2009 Religion News Service

An Orthodox rabbi broke Jewish law by participating in an interfaith prayer service on January 21 at Washington National Cathedral, according to the Rabbinical Council of America.

Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, who leads Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in New York, was one of three rabbis who participated in the National Prayer Service. The others were from Judaism's Conservative and Reform branches. Lookstein recited a nondenominational prayer during Wednesday's service.

"The long-standing policy of the Rabbinical Council of America," the RCA said in a statement, "in accordance with Jewish law, is that participation in a prayer service held in the sanctuary of a church is prohibited."

Rabbi Basil Herring, RCA's executive vice president, said he does not expect Lookstein to be punished for his role in the service. "We simply wanted to make the point that he was not going there on behalf of the rabbinical council, and that whatever he did, he did in his own capacity."

Nathan Diament, director of the Orthodox Union's Washington office, one of the largest Orthodox umbrella groups in the U.S., said he also attended the service in his "personal capacity."

Asked whether Jewish law prohibits Jews from visiting Christian churches, Diament said, "I'm not a rabbi." Diament also said that he attended Harvard Law School with President Obama and is friendly with the new chief executive.

Lookstein told the Jewish news service JTA that "after consultation with people who are absolutely committed to halacha (Jewish law), I...decided to do it because I felt it was a civic duty to honor the new president of the United States. Had I pulled out, it would have been something of an insult from the Orthodox community," Lookstein said.

Herring said the criticism of Lookstein was not politically motivated, and noted that the RCA praised Obama's "qualities of mind and leadership" and called his election a "cause for joy."

Al Gore and Global Warming

Czech president attacks Al Gore's climate campaign
6 hours ago January 31, 2009
DAVOS, Switzerland (AFP) — Czech President Vaclav Klaus took aim at climate change campaigner Al Gore on Saturday in Davos in a frontal attack on the science of global warming.
"I don't think that there is any global warming," said the 67-year-old liberal, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the European Union. "I don't see the statistical data for that."
Referring to the former US vice president, who attended Davos this year, he added: "I'm very sorry that some people like Al Gore are not ready to listen to the competing theories. I do listen to them.
"Environmentalism and the global warming alarmism is challenging our freedom. Al Gore is an important person in this movement."
Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, he said that he was more worried about the reaction to the perceived dangers than the consequences.
"I'm afraid that the current crisis will be misused for radically constraining the functioning of the markets and market economy all around the world," he said.
"I'm more afraid of the consequences of the crisis than the crisis itself."
Klaus makes no secret of his climate change scepticism -- he is also a fierce critic of the European Union -- and has branded the world's top panel of climate experts, the UN's IPCC, a smug monopoly.

Interestingly the earth has warmed one and one half degree in the last 1500 years. Is this warming a departure from normal or is the change to what is normal? Ken

Darwinism

The biggest fraud and one of the biggest lie ever told is the lie of the evolution of species. Interestingly the least successful of all frauds is the doctrine of evolution. Having a captive audience and daily indoctrination in the public school system for eighty years, still evolution is believed by less than 50% of those who are drilled by this theory day after day. Christian or not, common sense tells us man came from man cows come from cows frogs come from frogs etc. How foolish for our public school system to keep perpetuating this fraud. It is true as the statement below says “the first church of Charles Darwin” “actually it’s the local public school system“. Both Charles Darwin and the Public School System are failures at perpetuating this doctrine of the devil the parasite (organism living on another) of the kingdom. Eight maybe ten generations have been taught this foolish Darwinian doctrine and still only humanists and secularists are converts. Note: Gen. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 tells the truth about man. Jude 1:25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
